I started this blog to find crafting ideas, simple things to do with all my spare time. I got a sewing machine at a thrift shop and sewing notions. I like to make things for my home and myself. I will be sewing for my (adult)children and grand children as well. Hoping my family will join my blog, if not to sew than to keep up with each others lives whether good or bad. Also to make new friends.
Love,love,love this idea, I made this soap and it works wonders. I don't use fabric softeners anymore you just don't need it, it leaves my cloth soft and smelling good, my whites are whiter and if you make a little paste of it you can use it as a stain remover on most any fabric.
I have heard of using Borax as a shampoo but don't really know what the mix should be. Is there anyone out there who knows about this and how to use it?, I would like to give it a try.
